Non-Destructive Testing Wrocław, NDT Testing Wrocław

NDT Testing Enables

the precise detection of both surface and volumetric discontinuities arising from manufacturing processes such as welding, brazing, forging or casting. NDT testing in Wrocław is only part of our offering, since we operate just as readily and efficiently across the entire country. Not only in major industrial centres, but everywhere non-destructive testing is one of the foundations of an efficient production process and is indispensable. Welded joints hold no secrets from us. Using our testing methods, our qualified experts can very quickly detect defective items, so that the manufacturer can deliver only the highest-quality goods to customers.

As is well known, discontinuities are a very common occurrence in the production process. Don’t let them reduce the quality and safety of your product. Non-destructive NDT testing in Wrocław and the surrounding area is the best choice for all manufacturers of structures, pipelines and other equipment. A thorough examination of the raw materials from which they will ultimately be made is, of course, mandatory. But that’s just one part of it. You must never forget to just as thoroughly check every joint between sheet metal, aluminium, or any other materials involved in a complex production process. And that’s exactly why you need the specialists from ultrarent.com!

We provide non-destructive testing for medium and large enterprises throughout the country

Visual Testing VT Wrocław

This type of testing is based on visual examination. It is used on a mandatory basis, and often even at this stage many discontinuities and imperfections can be detected with great accuracy. The main tool used in this field is the operator’s trained eye.
Nevertheless, during VT visual testing a range of specialist tools can also be used, such as a videoscope, which allow for precise diagnostics. However, there are a number of circumstances in which visual testing proves insufficient. In such cases we bring in other methods, tailored individually to the specific weld being tested, taking into account factors such as whether it is located in an easily accessible spot, its size and how it was made, as well as the materials it joins together.

Penetrant Testing PT Wrocław

Penetrant testing belongs to the group of surface testing methods. Even though the media used penetrate into the material, they only allow the detection of defects that reach the surface. However, they allow far more to be detected than visual testing. They make it possible to detect all the small surface discontinuities that are invisible to the naked eye. PT testing cannot, however, be used on heavily porous surfaces. The method works very well for paramagnetic materials that cannot be inspected using the MT method – such as aluminium or stainless steel. PT testing is an excellent complement to the VT method, and that is just the beginning of a more detailed analysis.

Magnetic Particle Testing MT Wrocław

This is where ferromagnetic powder is used. It allows potential discontinuities in welds to be detected using an induced magnetic field. Because of the properties of such a field, it becomes clear that MT testing is carried out only in a limited range of cases and cannot be applied to all the materials and substances used in industry. Will it be applicable in your specific case? Leave that to us – our experts know exactly when to use this and other specific types of non-destructive testing to achieve the optimal result.

Ultrasonic Testing UT Wrocław

Extremely safe, highly effective. When dealing with welded joints in thick-walled components, it is UT testing that effectively verifies their quality and detects defects located inside the tested material. The ultrasonic wave beam easily penetrates deep into the tested material, and is also completely safe for the human body. For thicker components, the ultrasonic method has an undeniable advantage in the form of, among other things, testing speed.

Radiographic Testing RT Wrocław

This is one of the most effective and most commonly used non-destructive testing methods in industry. In the production process, small components are joined into larger equipment, which means that the high quality of each individual part is very important for the final product. For this reason, the RT method is used at various stages of the manufacturing process. Radiographic testing is characterised by very high detectability.

We serve clients from the following districts and surrounding areas: Fabryczna, Stare Miasto, Krzyki, Śródmieście, Psie Pole.
